چکیده
Abstract Carbapenems are employed to treat infections caused by Gram-negative bacteria including Klebsiella pneumoniae . This research is aimed perform phenotypic detection of ?-lactamases and molecular characterization NDM-1 positive K. isolates. Another objective investigate producing among children in Iran. From 2019 2020, altogether 60 isolates were acquired from various patients certain Iranian hospitals. Antimicrobial susceptibility testing was performed disk diffusion broth microdilution methods. In addition, mCIM eCIM used confirm the production carbapenemases metallo-beta-lactamases (MBLs), respectively. Detection resistance genes namely, bla , IMP VIM KPC OXA-48-like CTX-M SHV TEM mcr-1 PCR confirmed DNA sequencing. Multilocus sequence typing (MLST) determine strains. According findings, highest rate carbapenem detected against doripenem 83.3% (50). Moreover, 31.7% (19) resistant colistin. Further above, 80% (48) carbapenemase-producing them 46.7% (28) MBL 33.3% (20) serine ?-lactamase producer. results, 14 produced Remarkably, four children. these clonally related as determined MLST (ST147, ST15). Altogether ten ST147 ST15. Based on emergence NDM-producing worrying hence, it necessary develop a comprehensive program control antibiotic country.

Detection of NDM-1-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae in Kenya.
Seven carbapenem-resistant NDM-1-positive Klebsiella pneumoniae isolates were recovered from patients hospitalized between 2007 and 2009 in different wards at a referral and tertiary care center in Nairobi. Most of the isolates were obtained from urine. All isolates carried the bla(NDM-1) carbapenemase gene previously reported from India, Pakistan, and the United Kingdom. These isolates were cl...

BACKGROUND The resistance of aminoglycosides in strains that produce beta-lactamase can be developed through the multidrug resistant encoding genes carried by common plasmids. Recently, the association between 16S rRNA methyltransferase resistance and beta-lactamase enzymes carried by the same plasmids has drawn increased attention from researchers, particularly the association in aminoglycosid...

متن کاملDetection of carbapenem-resistant Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae producing NDM-1 in Lebanon.
Carbapenem resistance has been encountered globally with poor outcome of infected patients. NDM-1 (New Delhi metallo-beta-lactamase) gene containing organisms have emerged and are now spreading in all continents. This is the first report of Iraqi patients referred to Lebanon from whom carbapenem resistant Enterobacteriaceae were recovered. The genes involved in carbapenem resistance were bla-OX...
